Fosen Yard and the Siem Group entered into a contract for the outfitting and completion of a large LNG powered RoPax ferry, known as FSG Hull No. 774.

Fosen Design & Solution (FDS) have delivered services for:

Honfleur was delivered to SIEM at the end of May 2022 and sailed to Gdynia for installation of remaining furniture’s in the public areas for the new potential operators of the vessel. This job is planned to be ready for service summer season 2022.

The vessel has a capacity of 1670 passengers in large public spaces and 261 passenger cabins and 128 Crew cabins. Trailers lane capacity is 2600 lane meters, by double level loading. In addition, large hoistable car decks give high flexibility in cargo loading. 

The vessel is built according to SOLAS requirements for Safe Return to Port (SRtP), and the machinery is based on a dual fuel LNG gas engines. 

High redundancy and large flexibility in operation is obtained by the environmentally friendly, low emission dual-fuel electrical power plant and diesel-electric propulsion system of 2 x 10.250 Kilowatts.

The highly redundant gas fuel system has a large, fixed storage tank being supplied either by bunker stations or by mobile ISO containerized tank units. These ISO tank units are transported onboard by trucks and handled and stored onboard by the vessel’s own gantry crane.
